Bishop? Obinim ask church members to fight critics on the internet for him
The Bishop has been chided by a section of the populace after he claimed on OBTV channel that he has supernatural powers with which he transform himself into any animal in the spiritual realm.
In the video interview, the pastor claims he can transform into a snake, enter any room, bite his target and disappear after the mission. He also claimed that he once transformed into a snake with Jesus by his side who also transformed into a lion and visited someone.
After people who found his claims awkward took various forms to condemn him, Bishop Obinim in a voice played on Adom FM has issued a warning saying, anyone who speaks evil against him will face destruction.
“Some people have incurred the wrath of Jesus because they stood against me. Some have started drinking alcohol, smoking while others are facing challenges without knowing the cause. When you come against me, God will also come against you and your life will be messy. Your finances will be in a mess…,” he stated.
“You don’t touch the anointed. Even Angels in Heaven do not have the same powers. Some are more powerful than others. When you sleep, you sleep deep; but I don’t sleep. I lay down and work for the children of Jesus in the spiritual realm,” he added.
Bishop Obinim has asked members of his church and those who believe in Jesus and the miracles he does to fight for him.
“If you keep quiet on matters concerning me and people speak evil against me, they draw people away from God. But the more you fight for me, the children of Jesus come to the presence of God. Be it on the internet, radio or television, tell people your piece of mind. Fight for Obinim,” he asked.

Punch - Did you write exams in school in these big words?
Honourable- I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O’ Levels. WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I passed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt.
Punch – Why do you always use ‘big grammar’?
Honourable- I am not really consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative. No no no, it’s just that I am in my elements when the colloquy has to do with the pax nigeriana of our dreams and one necessarily needs to fulminate against the alcibiadian modus vivendi of our prebendal political class.
Punch – How do you talk to your wife, children and even your friends?
Honourable- I relate with my family and friends very warmly and in an atmosphere of camaraderie, stripped of my confutational habiliment and gladiatorial homilies. I am a very peaceful, calm, level-headed and celestially attuned soul personality.

Punch – Why do you pull your trousers up beyond the waist?
Honourable – Hahahaha….That trousers style is called Yohji Yamamoto. It was my own audacious statement to remonstrate against the pervasive tendency of Nigerians especially our youths that took to the practice of putting on trousers exposing their lower anatomical contours and I will do it over and over again.

Edem I'm still close with Confidence , We are cool

Edem indicated that he is close to Confidence’ first son but he is not the Godfather of the child.
“I am not the godfather but am actually close to the first born who is called Edem, who is about 11 years now so he was born before I met the mother,” he said.
According to him, he is still in contact with Confidence Haugen and that he knew about her pregnancy.
Confidence delivered a baby boy last week.
“I knew about Confidence having a baby. She called me when she was pregnant, she sent me the baby pictures and I have been with her through the whole process. I knew about the baby coming and I am very happy for her and I knew about the baby’s name before everyone got to know because we are friends and really close,” he hinted.
Asked on Ultimate E-Review hosted by Naa Klordey Odonkor how he keeps friendships intact, he explained ‘Am very futuristic so you have to keep moving on. And that is what you have to do. You have to be distinctive that you can separate what the media says from the qualities you know for somebody as a person when you know them personally. If you are able to decipher that then you can keep your friendships/relationships with people,’ he indicated.
Asked if the baby resembles him, he jokingly responded “Am fierce and am not handsome. I don’t like that softness; it’s too girly-like”.
“This is not television but I can show you the baby’s pictures if you wanna take a look at the handsome boy,” he stated.
The Books and Rhymes crooner remarked that he is proud of Confidence, saying they moved pass their differences and still keep their friendship going.
“She’s very happy, a strong woman and I’m always proud of her, we have had our differences, we moved pass it and still have a good friendship. I think it’s just understanding that when things happen and another day comes, those things are in the past,” he emphasized.
