Nigerian singer Wizkid is one proud father and he wants the world to know it.
He recently shared a photo of him and his cute son, Boluwatife on Instagram.
He posted the photo below with caption: “Strong Together! Just the two of us!”

Wizkid is definitely enjoying fatherhood and he is doing a good job at that, as he doesn’t hesitate to flaunt his son on social media.

It would be recalled that Wizkid had a son with a Nigerian girl, Oluwanishola Ogudugu about three years ago.

As panic over the outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus continue to rise, most countries have started taking precautionary measures, thoroughly screening incoming passengers especially those from Western countries where cases of the virus has been reported.

Top Nollywood filmmaker and actor, Kunle Afolayan and his younger brother, Gabriel Afolayan who is also an actor were isolated on their arrival at Seychelles airport because of the Ebola fear.

This was disclosed by Kunle via his Facebook page. He added that Gabriel had to do a test as he didn’t have his yellow fever card.

Kunle Afolayan has made a name for himself in the movie industry and is known for movies like Phone Swap (2012), October 1 (2014) and The Figurine (2010).

The Ebola virus is deadly and no cure has been found for it yet. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), the disease has so far killed over 1000 people.

Award-winning Actor/Comedian, Funny face has confirmed rumor making rounds that he is out from the TV series that brought him to the limelight; Chorkor Trotro aired on TV3.

In a phone interview with Christian Adjei Frimpong host of 205 Total Entertainment on Channel R 92.7fm last week, the actor confirmed leaving the series but he asked to be allowed some two months to comment fully on the issue since he has been silent on the case for the past six months.

“This issue popped up for the past six months but because I have not made any comment, they are still using my image deceiving people that I am still with them," Funny Face lamented.

Adding that it is shocking, but his philosophy in life is simple because he believes all the wealth one can gain will not take him or her to heaven hence the calm approach to the issue and not that he is stupid or is afraid to react.

When asked how long he has been absent from set as a result of the purported issue, his answer was 'I have been out since January' due to the reason he is not ready to disclose but promised to let the cat out of the bag at the right time.

The comedian also lamented that the series has taken a lot out of him because lots of chances came his way, but he couldn't grab them all because of Chorkor Trotro, but he didn't complain because it is the series that made the other avenues came his way.

“I was the face of the Chorkor Trotro series so I couldn't move out for a moment” Funny Face noted citing that as the reason he missed an opportunity to star in movies in Ghana and Nigeria.

Summing up, the award-winning Actor/Comedian said fans should get ready for his upcoming project that will blow the mind of Ghana, Africa and the world, and it will be on our television screens soon.

TV and Radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, known in private life as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa has strongly shot back at her enemies who she claims have been circulating some supposedly nude pictures of her showing her vagina or 'tonga' to the whole world.

Girlfriend of Ghanaian Rapper and BET Award winner Sarkodie is reported to have graduated from a university in the United Kingdom.

Sarkodie’s better half Tracy is reported to have recently completed Nottingham University in the UK and gone through graduation successfully.

Musicians, Label mates and friends Wanlov the Kubolor, and rapper Yaa Pono are said to be in an alleged fierce fight over a pregnancy.

The two who were caught on camera by eye witness exchanging more than just words are not picking up their phones to either confirm or deny the story.

According to our source Wanlov and Yaa Pono had no idea they were dating one lady hence the two came to the realization only when the lady disclosed she was pregnant to one party.

The source added that at the event where the fight occurred Yaa Pono had brought the lady to meet Wanlov only for him to realize that the FOKN Member also dates the lady.

Reactions from both Yaa Pono and Wanlov did not go well hence resulted in a fierce fight calling the attention of many fans around.

After a hiatus lasting more than a decade, one of the pioneers and arguably one of the most famous female hiplife artistes in the country has decided to make a comeback onto the music scene.

Abrewanana, who for many years was the only female hiplife artiste in an industry dominated by men has marked her return with a new single titled Number One, which features, Eze. She however released two singles Adjoa Ninja and No money No Honey via social media last year.

In an interview with Showbiz on Tuesday, Abrewa Nana said Number One produced by, MixMastaGarzy, is the latest from her come back album which is expected to be out later this year. “ I will make the release date known once the singles I have released make the necessary impact. I am back to stay and I have plans to drop more singles in the coming months to herald my return”, she said.

The Odo Filla star, asked fans to expect another single soon, titled Prince Charming, which features Okyeame Kwame and Castro.

Abrewanana described her latest single Number One, as “a classy, love song that will appeal to all ages.” The song, which has a catchy reggae dancehall feel, sees Abrewanana and Eze profess love to each other and promise to love each other forever. They both remind each other that they will always be number one in their hearts.


Giving reasons for her “break,” Abrewanana said she took time off from making music in order to take care of some personal affairs.


“I had to take a break to deal with a few personal stuff and I have also been working on a breast cancer awareness campaign. I even have a song to that effect,” she added.


Also, according to Abrewanana, although she has been away from the public eye for some time now, she has been behind the scenes producing, writing and recording music with various artistes.

She said her comeback was motivated by the love of her fans who have been constantly asking for her return. “Everywhere I go, people are always asking me when I will release a new track so I realised they must be missing me,” she said.

She debunked claims making the rounds that she was feuding with any female artistes in the hiplife family.

“I am actually focusing on sharing my God-given talent within Ghana and beyond. I am not in a rivalry competition with any artiste especially those within the hiplife family. I appreciate the efforts of everyone and I’m ready to collaborate and combine efforts with any artiste who wishes to do so with me,” she stated.

Abrewanana is the first female hiplife artiste in Ghana and she has a number of albums to her credit namely Sagaa released in 2000, African Girl and Maba.

She has also worked with some of the biggest artistes in the country including Samini, Akosua Agyepong among others.

Ghana’s rising comedian Richard Kwaku Asante, popularly known Kalybos has premiered his first ever music single on Hitz FM.

Kalybos is now a household name because of his comedy skits – Boys Kasa series – on video sharing site, Youtube.

He premiered the song in his first ever radio interview on Showbiz Tuesday with Mic Gizo Saturday.

According to him, the single, ‘Myself’ is a song about his struggle in life. To prove that he is equally gifted in music, apart from comedy and acting, Kalybos pulled a spectacular act when he was giving music instrumental to rap with.

The comedian recounted his days as a camera man who had passion for acting and that through his work, he had the opportunity of meeting some Ghanaian movie stars on set.

During his second year at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), Kalybos said he met Kofi Asamoah, a course mate who is a movie director and producer who expressed interest in working with him.

They came up with the idea to do a short comedy video titled 'Boys Kasa’. The comedy video was initially intended for television but the high cost of television air time forced them to release the videos on Youtube.

Asked if his sudden rise to fame has had any effect on his lifestyle, Kalybos said nothing has changed because he still goes to Kantamanto to patronize second hand clothes which he does not intend stopping.

Kalybos debunked rumours that he is gay. He declared that he was straight but admitted that some men have interestingly passed glances and complimented him.
He assured his fans of more funny video skits and also urged them to watch out for his latest movie which will be hitting movie screens very soon.

Charter House PRO George Quaye has confirmed that he is no longer the manager of comedian Funny Face according to Flex newspaper.

George Quaye who was managing Funny Face until everything went silent, revealed to host of Showbiz Xtra on Happy fm Dr Cann last Saturday that he had to break up with Funny Face because he has been too busy with work.

He said he felt that was affecting business relations with the comedian.

He added that because of that, he had to speak to Funny Face to move on since he did not want to slow down his progress. Funny Face has also confirmed his break up via a phone interview last Monday.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian stand-up comedy gained some recognition after the Night of 1018 laughs. The comedy night which took place on 2nd August 2014 had only one indigenous Ghanaian act; DKB. The rest were from comedy powerhouse Nigeria.

In an interaction with some Ghanaians expressed concern that Ghana had only one slot on the biggest platform for comedy in Ghana.

Media reports also has it that Funny Face also known as Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng has diverted from comedy to radio. Funny Face has a background in broadcasting which was evident when he competed inTV3s Hottest Host.

Funny Face has confirmed that he has signed on to work with Star 103.5 Accra's newest radio station. He did not give much details a exactly what he was going to do on air.

Two of Ghana’s thriving charismatic churches with huge membership, the Lighthouse Chapel International (LCI) and Royal House Chapel, have banned handshakes and hugs among their members as part of measures to fight the dreaded Ebola disease.

Handshakes and ‘Christian’ hugs are very common ways of exchanging pleasantries at churches. Therefore the ban placed on the two gestures would certainly cause an unusual feeling among congregants.

Rev. Derek Amanor, resident pastor of Royal House, explained to Adom Fm on Monday that the measures were not to prevent members from fraternising but were practical and logical ways of preventing the spread of the virus.

He said apart from the ban on handshakes and hugs, the church constantly educated its members on how to stay away from contracting the Ebola virus.

“We are asking them to wash their hands and offering the necessary education but we do have a medical team to attend to such complication, so I believe that when such an issue comes up we can deal with it appropriately,” Rev. Amanor added.

Interestingly, while these Ghanaian clergy are asking their congregants to adopt practical ways of not contracting Ebola, sensational Nigerian prophet, T. B. Joshua, has thrown a challenge to the governments of countries where persons are affected with the Ebola virus, to invite him over to use his ‘anointed water’ to cure such persons.

The Ebola virus currently has no cure and has killed close to a 1000 people in some West African countries, sending shivers across the rest of the world. Its patients die within days.

The World Health Organisation says it has lost control over the fast spreading epidemic that is contracted through direct contact with fluids of infected patients, as well as from eating the meat of animals such as apes, fruit bats and antelopes.

Liberia, one of the worst affected countries, has declared a 90-day state of emergency and has shut a major hospital where several staff were infected, including a Spanish priest. Nigeria has also recorded about two deaths, whilst Sierra Leone and Guinea have also recorded some deaths.

Ghana is yet to record a single Ebola case, though some medical institutions have conducted tests on samples taken from some patients who manifested symptoms of Ebola.

Ghanaian dancehall musician, Emmanuel Andrews Samini, known in entertainment parlance as Samini, has put smiles on the faces of some lepers and elderly people in Accra.

The artiste on Friday donated a total of about 50 solar-powered lamps to the Weija Leprosarium and Help Aged Ghana, two non-governmental organisations. The donation was part of activities to mark his 10th anniversary and to commence the ‘Samini Foundation Light A Million Lives Project’ which will witness the distribution of one million solar lamps to underprivileged groups across the country.

Presenting the items, Samini, formerly known as Batman, stated that the donation was a way of thanking Ghanaians for the enormous support that they have rendered and continue to render to him in the course of his career.

He said; “It is my own way of giving back to Ghanaians for their support towards my career over the years. They have been nice to me and I feel there is the need for me to return the hands of time.”

The dancehall guru noted that the multipurpose lamps which have the ability of charging mobile phones were to save the beneficiaries from the bitter experiences of the constant power outages in the country.

According to him, “they are to as well help in reducing their electricity bills, thereby enabling them to save some monies for other expenses.”

He disclosed that plans were far advanced for the Samini Foundation, which was unveiled a couple of weeks ago in Accra, to replicate the gesture across the country, “and to set up an assembling plant to produce these lights in the country.”

He noted that such a plant would equally create jobs for Ghanaian youth.

The beneficiaries of the benevolent gesture thanked the multi-award winning singer and urged others to follow suit.

The young Ghanaian rap artiste has however dismissed the speculation and told NEWS-ONE he is heterosexual and neither bisexual nor homosexual.

According to him, the fact that he has a gay friend or knows a gay does not make him gay: “No I’m not gay. If you have a friend who is gay or you know someone who is gay, it doesn’t mean that you are also gay,” he said.

Yaa Pono stated that for someone like Panji to come out and make such a declaration, it means that he has other issues besides the gay one that he wants people to address.

“Panji will never say something like that when he is not basing on something. For me I’m so open-minded and sometimes I feel when people make certain statements, they just want to address certain issues. There must be something behind what he said,” Yaa Pono added.

Pono and his management, ‘Uptown Energy’, are currently working on his upcoming album titled, ‘Sea blue,’ which has the ‘Amen’ song on it.

“I’m currently working on my new album titled, ‘Sea blue,’ which has the ‘Amen’ single in it. We are yet to release the rest in our upcoming tour in Ghana, across Africa and Europe,” he disclosed.

Panji recently took to his facebook page to declare himself gay, though he has a known female wife with whom he has children.

“I wish to announce today that I am gay, so that all the people who don’t want a gay friend on facebook can unfriend me now. I will miss you all, but I think it will make my facebook world a better place,” Panji wrote on his official facebook page last Monday, becoming the first Ghanaian celeb to have publicly revealed his same sex status.
