A female presenter working with an affiliate of Accra-based YFM in Takoradi in the Western region has allegedly been kidnapped.

Ms Ada, also known as Adaese Oda Onyinyechi is believed to be held by some suspected five rogues in the area.

Y FM has issued a statement soliciting the support of the public to discover the whereabouts of their kidnapped presenter.

Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka also known as Ms Ada was kidnapped by unknown men from her Takoradi base.

Her kidnappers have since posted pictures of her being sexually abused on social media.

Read below the station's statement:
Yfm wishes to announce that the presenter of the Y Lounge show in Takoradi, Ms.Ada, also known as Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka has been abducted.

At this point we have not been contacted by any persons. We have reported this matter to the Regional Command of the Ghana police. We want to assure the public that we are working with the Ghana Police Service to find Ms Ada.

We invite anybody with information to contact Yfm, Takoradi on 0273448888 and the Ghana Police Service.
