BlissGh BuZz | If you’ve had a good hard laugh recently, then its certainly because a single adventure by one of Ghana’s most hilarious comic actor Kalybos made you do so.

Known in real life as Kevin Asante, Kalybos rose to fame when he started featuring in BOYS KASA; a hilarious comedy mini serial produced by KOFAS MEDiA and Directed by Kofi Asamoah.

The said Story is fabricated. It is regrettable that a website like OMG Ghana or originator of the Story will publish such an untruth meant to deceive, slander and cause public disaffection.

The news website OMG Ghana or its originators acknowledge that the story is a satirical- spoof. This is regrettable when many artiste and industry players are calling for ethical reportage and not hogwash.

The Statement “Who is Mzbel? How long has she been doing music and what impact has she made? After ‘16 years,’ she could’ve been one of the greatest female musicians from Ghana, but she let drugs and laziness get in her way. Her opinion does not matter to me really.” IS TOTALLY FALSE AND FABRICATED.

Samini is currently in the UK performing, and doing what he does Best, entertaining the masses and inspiring them as always. Samini is a Gentleman and always will be. And particularly has no issues whatsoever with MzBel.

We advice the originators of the Story to clarify the said story and adhere to Responsible Journalism. Crass Journalism is not what Ghana needs now. All other carriers of the Story in Question are herein adviced!

Missing Hiplife artiste, Castro, and his female companion, Janet Bandu, can only be declared dead, per Ghana’s laws, after seven years and seven days.

Ada District Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Dodzi Hlordzi told StarrFMonline.com in an interview on Monday that as far as the Police and the Law are concerned, Theophilus Tagoe, as Castro is known off stage, and his female companion cannot be declared dead or said to have died until after seven years have passed.

This means Castro and Janet can only be declared dead or deemed to have died in July 2021. Until then, the law still recognises them as being alive.

According to Chief Supt Hlordzi, the families of Castro and Janet can only organise funerals for the two missing persons until after seven years and seven days.

Their estate, if any, can also be inherited, only after that period.

The two went missing early July while surfing the waves at Ada in the Greater Accra Region.

Frantic searches by Marine Police have not yielded any results.

A Catholic priest and tutor at the Saint Victor Major Seminary at Malshegu in the Tamale Metropolis, Reverend Father Kelvin Abakisi has committed suicide by hanging.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Northern Regional Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ebenezer Tetteh, the body of the 31-year old priest was on August 23 found hanging from the ceiling of his sitting room when another priest from the seminary, Rev. Fr Suom Dery visited the bungalow of the deceased.

ASP Tetteh said the police did not suspect any foul play since an initial examination of the body did not show any sign of struggle.
He said Rev Father Abakisi was recently transferred from the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Diocese to the Saint Victor Major Seminary as a tutor.

The body has since been conveyed to the Yendi Government Hospital for preservation since all the morgues in the Tamale Metropolis are full.

African king of dancehall, Samini has rubbished Mzbel’s reasons for picking Shatta Wale over him. According to him, Mzbel’s opinion doesn’t matter to him.

The ‘Dagaati’ album owner and C.E.O of Samini music was responding to the ‘16 years’ hit singer’s comments she made about him at Rockstone’s office in a TV interview some few days ago on ‘let’s talk entertainment’, a hang out programme.

In the interview, Mzbel disclosed that, although she still loves Samini, she’s now a full time Shatta Walean because he’s trending now and he inspires the people on the streets- something which according to Mzbel, Samini used to do.

“I am a Shatta Walean. I love Samini, but now Shatta Wale is trending so am a full time Shatta Walean. Shatta Wale is down to earth. Shatta Wale inspires the people on the streets. Shatta Wale is not, ok I’m self-made and all that and he speaks his mind. He’s not afraid of anything. He’s very confident. Samini used to be like that, but all of a sudden he’s like ok I’m prim and proper. And the people on the street were like, ok he’s left us. So it’s not like I don’t like Samini anymore. I still love Samini, but I’m a full time Shatta Walean,” she revealed.

For way over half a year now, there have been purported serious friction between Samini and Shatta Wale and some entertainment pundits believe it still exists. The purported friction stems from the fact that showbiz lovers, critics, analysts and fans of both artistes have been caught up in debating who’s the better dancehall artiste of the two. Others believe there’s no such thing between them and that it’s all publicity stunts.

In his response, Samini said,

Samini recently released two new freestyles over Chris Brown’s loyal and Beyonce’s Drunk in love and Mzbel took a music career break to focus on family upon giving birth.

One time popular Ghanaian musician OD4, born Henry Agyei Gyamerah, is making a comeback years after he went quiet on the music scene.

Ahead of his comeback, he has announced this week that he is no more called OD4. He has changed his name to ‘Mavluz’, pronounced as ‘marvelous.’

OD4 is an acronym for “Obiara Di Fo”, literally meaning everyone is guilty. He does not want to have anything to do with it anymore.

“Well it used to be OD4, now Mavluz. I decided not to come back with my old name due to the perception some people would have. That I’m returning with the same old thing. Also, I chose the name Mavluz due to the kind of stuff I’m bringing now. I’m bringing out the all of me, vocally much more matured than before, I’m coming out with the real me and my fans will marvel. I have improved, cutting across and penetrating all the areas OD4 couldn’t manifest. OD4 is no more, I am now MAVLUZ and I’m ready to marvel the world,” he explained the name change.

“My fans should watch out, I’m hoisting the flag of Ghana to a whole new level, collaborating with some international music acts. They should relax, feel the music and keep the support flowing,” he added.

He is known for popular songs such as “Wonya Da”, “Odo Nkoaa”, “Ten Thousand”, “Twe ma me”, “SLIMA girls” and “Darling”, a lot of which he has worked on with Ras Nigga.

He also worked with several other artists such as Okuraseni Samuel of TV3 Mentor fame and Kyikin.
